Giving sporting talents opportunities…especially now
A strong team is necessary to achieve success. This applies in the business world as well as in sports—actually everywhere. It is always people who do things together and achieve them, because if you think about it carefully, you don't celebrate 'winning' alone. However, money is needed to give individual talents within sports teams a chance and to provide professional guidance. For that reason, we have decided to invest extra in several sporting matters…
Proud! The RR Socia Racing team is part of Team NL
Being fast and agile, not flying off the track, figuring out the most efficient way to get from the start to the finish, and staying ahead of the competition. These are similarities between business and sports that are surely recognizable. Last year, as one of the sponsors, we were introduced to motorsport. We organized events for business relations centered around spectacular races at the TT Circuit in Assen. Now we are taking a step further by sponsoring the IDM championship in the Supersport and Superbike classes.
Due to a hobby of our owner that got out of hand, the RR Socia Racing Team has now become part of Team NL. What appealed to us enormously about this was the tailored guidance for sporting talent. Facilities and amenities in the fields of physiotherapy, sports medicine, and sports cardiology are becoming available from Sportcentrum Papendal, with the aim of developing top talent for road racing in the Netherlands. Why is exercising so important right now?
As far as we are concerned, sports are urgent because they connect people. It is a very important part of our social life. But it is also precisely what we have missed during the past period. Society was locked down for a long time, and resistance arose because people could no longer play sports together. Precisely now, there is a need for extra social contact, including in the business world. Fortunately, we can meet again, look each other straight in the eye, learn from each other, laugh, and have fun together.
What is the second sporting event?
This sport is about focus, adopting the right posture, supreme concentrationentraTie, lots of practice, taking your time, networking, and a chance for long-lasting friendships. It takes place in the fresh air. Do you know which sport it is yet? Exactly, golf. We have partnered with Golfcentrum De Hoge Dijk in Amsterdam so that we can create moments together with valued contacts to get to know each other even better.
