Service Desk Teamwork! Do you know Socia's extra hands yet?
Couldn't you provide temporary support on our IT department's service desk? We were hearing that question from customers increasingly often. And…that got us thinking. After all, internally we use the motto 'Do more of what you're good at.' So it made sense to create a comprehensive plan to provide extra hands. Ten Socia colleagues have already been seconded via our secondment department. Sodeta.
Flexible hands for every service desk
Offering flexibility is one of the things included in our plan. We want to provide our clients' service desks with temporary extra hands, regardless of the expertise required. Socia's philosophy is that we do not push product brands, so we do not do so for our service provision either. The request for extra capacity may be Microsoft-related, for example, but we also have extensive knowledge of Citrix environments. If you need extra hands, we will look for the right candidate. Just bring us your request to improve the service desk, and we will proactively get to work within our extensive network.
Helping customers even better
We also want to clarify something related to stereotyping. For many people, the image of 'secondment' has a 'temp agency hours-like' feel to it. We will not deny that there are temp agencies that merely supply hours without having any understanding of ICT themselves. The difference with us is that our core expertise is first aid for ICT problems. This means that our service desk employees do not just perform their duties, but are also alert to improvements they identify. After all, they are part of your team and want to move forward together.
Our ambition
This year we aim for substantial growth, even at least doubling. We want to achieve this with high-quality service desk employees. Technical knowledge is necessary, but as far as we are concerned, good communication skills, proactivity, and social engagement are much more important! After all, providing service remains a people business.
